.......................................................................

Leyburn Leisure Club has 3 teams in the North Yorkshire Squash League; and is proud to have links with Catterick Garrison squash players. We have a section of about 70 adult players and 15 juniors playing regularly.

We have 15 internal squash leagues and boast an 'in-house' Level 2 England Squash Coach (Steve Foley). Steve dedicates his time to running the club and coaching players at any level, young or old. Steve is also a professional racket stringer.

Furthermore we run a number of Tournaments throughout the season for all squash enthusiasts.

The Squash section is only one part of Leyburn Leisure Club. In addition to Squash it has two fitness suites, one is on the ground floor, which holds all the cv equipment (rowers, steppers, running machines, etc) and a weights room upstairs. With over 80 members enjoying these facilities, which also include a table tennis table and a pool table.

Both the men's and the ladies shower rooms have sauna's located in them and the facility includes a tanning booth.

With a busy social scene and a licenced bar available the club is very well known for being a warm and friendly place to be.

Leyburn is a busy market town in Richmondshire, North Yorkshire, England. The town sits above the northern bank of the river Ure in Wensleydale. The name was derived from 'Ley' or 'Le' (clearing), and 'burn' (stream), meaning clearing by the stream. The town boasts two markets, several pubs, two banks with cash machines, and many small specialty stores. Market day is Friday. It is served by local buses that connect to Richmond, Hawes, and Bedale and Catterick Garrison.
